We often speak of the seasons of life and typically refer to them in terms of age. Thus, an infant is in the Spring of life when everything is just beginning and is fresh and new, whereas those of us in our later years are said to be spending them in Winter with no expectation of Spring.
But, there are other seasons of life during which time we have a job or career, then change to another one. Or, we’re raising kids and they grow up and move on to their next phase and all that holds for them which then launches the parents into the next phase for them as well.
There may be ministries or projects we get involved in for awhile, but then the Lord nudges us to move on ourselves.
It has been my privilege to listen to the Lord and write this blog for just shy of six years. You, my family and dear friends, have graciously read it and have written many uplifting comments as over 300 of them have been posted. However, though His word IS forever, hiswordforever.com must come to an end. It is time for me to listen for what God might have in store for me in the next period of my life. It may even involve more writing. Only He knows.
We have had the privilege of re-visiting God’s grace, mercy and truth in our weekly thoughts some of which include:
God loves you always and forever.
He is always with you – even when He is silent.
Our life is like a bank account from which we can only make withdrawals so we must make them count.
There is nothing to fear because He is the Good Shepherd who goes before you to provide and protect.
It’s hard to amply express my gratitude to you for participating in this journey with me. You were an integral part, and you came through in amazing ways. I will be forever grateful.
May the Lord bless you and keep you in the New Year and always! Teri
”For everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
